About

I have worked in construction management for high-tech facilities for the majority of my career. I got there likely by being interested in building and fixing things from a very young age. At 9, I built my first boat which friends and I paddled down the nearby creek. This was followed by several forts made from scavenged wood and a couple built underground complete with candle lighting. Good thing mother never knew!  Other building projects included a cross bow, fish trap, and a series of extra large kites.

I grew up in the rural mid west where my father was from and he never believed in doing things the easy way using motorized equipment. Trenches were by shovel, fire wood by 2-man saw, and push lawn movers were said to be good for the legs. Somehow riding lawn mowers only became acceptable after I left for engineering school.

I have always enjoyed working with my hands. After a career of living in a cubicle and watching others have all the fun I decided it was time to get back to using my hands and helping others to keep their homes and small businesses operating as they should.
